Dr. Carrie Roitstein, OD, Joins the Visible Genomics Strategic Advisory Board

Visible Genomics is proud to announce that Dr. Carrie Roitstein, OD, has joined its Strategic Advisory Board. Dr. Roitstein is a respected optometrist and wellness practitioner known for her integrative approach to vision care. With more than 30 years of experience in the optometry industry, she brings deep clinical expertise and a passion for preventative eye health.
Dr. Roitstein practices as an independent Optometrist at Glimpse Vision in both Chicago’s Gold Coast and Hinsdale, Illinois. A graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry, she previously served as Managing Doctor for Spex and is now a partner at Glimpse Vision, where she works alongside highly skilled opticians to provide advanced, personalized care.
In addition to her optometric background, Dr. Roitstein is a Board-Certified Personalized Nutrition Practitioner and Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, certified through the American Nutrition Association and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She also serves as a Fellow and Board Member of the Ocular Wellness and Nutrition Society (OWNS), reflecting her dedication to advancing the role of nutrition and lifestyle in ocular health.
Dr. Roitstein’s experience in integrative nutrition and ocular wellness aligns with Visible Genomics’ mission to promote personalized, preventative care.
